Qué difícil es detenerse un momento y observar lo bello de nuestro alrededor…

Y es que, desde hace un tiempo, veo tantas cosas lindas que quisiera tener mi cámara en mano en todo momento, para que no solo queden en mi imaginación, sino que ustedes también puedan apreciarlas. Tanto es así que el otro día le dije a un amigo: “Mira qué bello eso; quedaría espectacular una foto con esa sombra ahí”, a lo que él me respondió: “Los fotógrafos siempre ven belleza en todos lados”.

Las personas están trabajando todo el tiempo, pensando en terminar para irse a casa a descansar, y en ese corre-corre realmente no aprecian un amanecer, a esos animales que nos aportan tanto, las formas, los colores, lo bello de lo simple, lo real, el día a día.

Aunque estés en esta situación, detente un segundo y mira más allá. Atrévete a observar la belleza del paisaje, las personas, los momentos y todo lo que puedas encontrar a tu alrededor. ¡No te arrepentirás!

It’s gratifying to see how hard work is displayed and rewarded. Bringing out the best in each horse is not an easy task, and we’ve made a great effort to bring Jackson to where he is now. Yesterday, he ran his best race, achieving a 94 score and an extraordinary time. His heart and bravery have made him the champion of our stable. Here’s to many more victories and continued health! 🥂

My heart is shattered since yesterday hearing my mare GT Sonia passed away giving birth to her third foal. Named in honor of my grandmother, she marked the beginning of my training career, bringing me joy and success.

GT Sonia became my dream come true. With her, everything began. I cared for her mother, BFit, until the moment she was born. I watched her grow, broke her, trained her, took her from Ocala to NY, and after several attempts, she broke her maiden at Saratoga, earning me the prize as breeder, owner, and trainer. Thank you, GT Sonia, for becoming such an essential part of this journey of being a trainer.

#FlashBackFriday Danny California, was a horse that truly captured our hearts; we acquired him for $25k and he went on to generate over $200,000 for Noda Brothers, earning us our first stake in the Miner’s Mark Stakes. Later, he was claimed in an optional claiming race, and eventually retired.

My wife grew incredibly fond of this horse; so much so that when he was claimed, she would urge me, “Let’s talk to them, let’s offer more money so they sell him back to us.” As time passed, she would visit him at his new stable, and we always kept in touch to hear about his retirement. Now, Danny is in New Jersey, enjoying his well-deserved rest
